Video intro highlighted the pain points. The middle part introduced the product, plus a series of features and benefits. 
The AIDA system was in mind when creating the video ad. The beginning showed a lady looking in the mirror and right then a pain point popped up. That action is meant for catching Attention(I know it's supposed to be Awareness). The Introduction of the product is for eliciting Interest, and the features for Desire. As for the Action, it's to get you to watch till the end.
