Our target customer is focused on meeting her basic physiological and safety needs. While low on income, she’s a smart shopper who recognizes a good deal when she sees it.

She’s motivated to save money, to be in control of her life, and to feel secure.
With a busy schedule and a family to support, convenience is paramount.
She wants to save on essentials so she can focus on her family and the 
future and perhaps splurge every once in a while.

With that said, value shopping has the opportunity to transcend
socioeconomic status. It can be a positive experience for everyone.


Our in-store destination will meet our customer’s needs through its curated product selection, robust signage, and engaging structural and fixture solutions that get her excited to shop. Our omnichannel experience will encourage our customer and other value shoppers to think of CVS Pharmacy as the place to save on essential items.

She will find the items she needs at prices that get her excited.
When she shops at our in-store value destination, she will feel like she
