Miloš Zeman's Stamps of Discontent
During his eight-year tenure as president of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, along with his close associates, frequently displayed a disdain for the principles of democracy. Actions and decisions made throughout this period often revealed an agenda driven by personal gain, power consolidation, personal vendetta, and vindictiveness rather than the welfare and democratic aspirations of the Czech people. Their actions bordered on treason, putting personal interests above national ones.
My stamps project diverges from traditional Czech presidential portraits, turning stamps into canvases of Zeman's controversies. They are potent reminders of a challenging era in Czech history, championing democratic vigilance.
