The double-axe appears frequently from the Bronze Age till the Byzantine years in Middle East, Egypt and Greece. It's a symbol with multiple meanings that in Cretan language, as well as in the Lydian and Carian languages is named "labirys" or "labrys" from which the famous "Labyrinth" in the Knossos palace had taken its name. Therefore, it's not only a tool but a dedicatory, ritual, religious and hieroglyphic symbol used in various sections of human cultural activity [pottery, painting, metalworking, stone carving etc].
The design of the double-axe is being multiplied in order to produce a spiny motif 90x90x5 mm of centrifugal movement.
