This was my project for the illustration class at the college. The theme was 2D&3D and we had to create a calendar. Calendar 2015 shows fantasy characters (good VS evil), because in reality they don't exist. We usually see them in comics, movies, drawings... So, I decided to use an optical illusion and if we want to see illustrations as 3D object in real space we have to look the calendar from the side. When illustrations are seen from front you can see only 2D surface with almost abstract content.
Also the viewing angles are set by illustration theme. Good characters (on white background) you have to view from the left side and evil characters (on the black background) you have to view from the right side.
Evil characters in this calendar are: Demon, Dragon, Ghost, Ogre, Vampire and Witch. Good characters are: Angel, Elf, Fairy, Centaur, Mermaid and Unicorn.
