The Legends of Modern Architecture - Poster Series
Paying homage to the four great pioneers of modern architecture - Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright and Walter Gropius. Without their incredible genius and work ethic the world we live in today would be vastly different and in no small way far less for it. From the use of new materials to the appearance of clean lines it has to be truly appreciated at what time in history these ideas were formulated and put into action. Stunning boldness in the face of what was the status quo.
The chosen colours even come from Le Corbusier's Architectural Polychromy Purist Colour Palette from 1931 whereby all shades are eminently architectural, naturally harmonious and can be combined in any way. Each hue has its relevance and embodies specific spatial and human effects.
