California flowers were the theme for my photo essay. I took many photos (all in full color). I went on spring break in San Diego and Los Angeles, and took pictures of the many flowers I saw. Every flower I saw had a different shade or tone of color that was just hard to ignore. These flowers brought a cool mixture to the scenery around me, whether Oceanfront, Cliff side, or in the City. In Virginia I had never seen so many different types and shapes of flowers that really caught my attention. All of my photos are close-ups of flowers, which I chose to stick with the style. In some photos, I chose slightly different positions of the sun that added to the glamour of each flower in my pictures, improving the little details of each flower. Sometimes in San Diego and Los Angles the sun doesn't shine because of the fog. This did impact my photos; I had to wait till the sun broke through to get this shots. It was nice to see how different California was.
