The Olympic Games, the most important sporting event in the world. Being a fan of the games myself, this poster was a personal project with the goal of capturing the essence of the games on a poster. The mountains of Sochi are important to the region, and are seen here in full display. The color choices reflect the coolness of winter, with a splash of orange to represent the fire of the olympic torch, and the fire inside of each of the athletes.
