Flavo Montem
One of the most highly regarded art expressions of Straits Chinese culture here in Singapore, Mountain-water paintings often involve a myriad of requirements such as rhythm, fluidity, balance, composition and form. My interpretation is a modern take on the old Chinese art form with a mix-medium use of vectors, paper cut, water colour and digital imaging.
These geological formations are typically shrouded in clouds, as echoed in this illustration by the movement of dark Chinese ink over the mountains.
