'Fading Vistas' is an ode to the resilience of vulnerable communities and celebration of the beauty of Pakistan's northern areas: the magnificent mountains, spectacular glaciers, lush valleys, the clear blue waters and the simple life.
The book is a compilation of the picturesque views the region offers. It is an attempt to pay tribute to the majestic mountains, and the gorgeous terrains across Gilgit Baltistan and 8 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The book also illustrates some of the devastating effects of glacial lake outburst floods, and UNDP'S work to support affected communities.
