Playing up with the idea of unique serial numbering on each Singapore dollar note, each note placed into our money packet generates a different 4-digit number every time. The die-cut hole was also strategically etched out on the Maneki-neko's paw, signalling good fortune to come!
BLESSING THE PACKET
1. SLIDE your note in serial number face up. Shhh. Magik is about to happen.
2. SUMMON Larry the cat to bestow some lucky numbers. Align the note to unveil 4 furry digits. (If done perfectly, Larry’s eyes will blink.)
3. SEAL it. Bless it. Gift it. Pass it with both (clean) hands and make very strong, unnecessary eye contact. The awkward-er, the better.
4. SHOUT in their face the activation phrase: “STILL WATER IS FOR PEASANTS” Pray they huat so hard that they feel obliged to offer you their firstborn. And watch as people around you shake their head in embarrassment.
