Imagine an early Harrison Ford travelling on a motorcycle cross country with a flask of whiskey in hit pocket. Now imagine the same thing but instead of a motorcycle, he's on a moped. Le Moped is a snarky, no bullshit, sharp witted company that caters to two-stroke enthusiasts. Since French mopeds where popular in the United States of America in the late 1970's I wanted to tip my hat off to 1970's French design. With this in mind, I also wanted to use materials only found in a Moped shop from 1979. After drinking a lot of wine and reading a lot about A.M Cassandre, Le Moped was born.
Our challenge was to pick six products and package them with our brand name. I chose cologne, headache powders (It's a southern thing.), a spark plug, oil can, hankerchief, and a full face helmet. Using materials only found in a 1970's mechanic shop all products are printed on gasket paper using an acetone transfer process.
