A real blast from the past. Back in 1995, I made a pointillistic pen illustration intended to be used as a demo tape (on cassette format, if anyone remember those) cover for the German band Autumnblaze. Eventually it ended up as a limited edition t-shirt print instead.
The band recently asked me if I happened to still had the artwork available for a retrospective album release, so I digged up the original drawing, scanned it and made some modifications to make it play better in a square format. I usually don't have a fondness for nostalgia, but this time it was really fun to revisit the past and re-connect with what the hands were doing almost 20 years ago.
