CHRISTUS Health approved its plan to develop an emergency center in Texarkana, Texas. The budget for the project is $17 million.

According to a KTAL News report, the facility's construction plan features an on-site laboratory, 12 treatment rooms, and an emergency department imaging suite. CHRISTUS strategically chose the location for the 24-hour emergency center under its plan to streamline access to healthcare in communities with low access to treatment.
