PALADIN - illustration

The task is to make a paladin in the service of the Slavic god Veles.

Veles is an underground god associated with water and moisture, king of the underworld, god of livestock, patron of shepherds, and associated with magic and commerce.

For the design of the character, I took inspiration for certain details from everything related to cattle; the shepherd's staff, which is an element of recognition in which service the paladin is in and a symbol of protection for the one who wears it, the horns of a goat on the helmet and the fleece and leather as a detail on the armor. For the hair and face, I was inspired by the actress Katheryn Winnick in the role of Lagharta in the series Vikings.
