The request from the design office was to be able to transform 2D patterns into 3D in order to avoid the prototyping phase, which is time-consuming and costly, and to be able to test different solutions for materials, colors, and finishes. Starting from the measurements and indications from the drawings, we modeled the shoe in 3D. The materials were created in two ways: digitally reconstructed and through photogrammetry.
