lighthouse playing in the rain

I first accessed this site from a while back around the beginning of June called 52 prompts, and there is a silly random generator for users, that gives many cool options like for example: Just a preference, This type of creativity gets the juices flowing. I remember just randomly clicking the button to see what idea that would be awesome.
Until, I seen "Lighthouse playing in the rain." I already knew what to do. While I was gonna draw a lighthouse, I told myself "simplicity", that's it. Until I saw different clipart or how lighthouses look in a drawing. I came with my own. It was fun adding my own interpretation of the lighthouse enjoying the rain, just smiling, I used neon highlighters, both cool and warm colors to add some depth and emphasis.

I drew a storm with lightning and clouds. When I thought about the rain, I assumed adding cool a atmosphere would make the drawing more presentable, although I added warm colors because I wanted the drawing to have more tones, and values than just a repetitive color scheme that would make the drawing look dull. However, to make the highlighter colors glow, I used ultraviolet light radiation since those specific markers are fluorescent, except the color blue isn't as visible  than the other colors, lime yellow, lime green, orange, and pink. Gonna be adding this to my INPRNT shop, soon.
Hope you enjoy drawing!
