You probably won't see coverage of Trans Pride London on the news, despite more than 25,000 people gathering in Trafalgar Square and marching on the streets of central London. We stood shoulder to shoulder in love, solidarity and rage and marched for a better, safer, more joyful existence for our trans siblings.
The media will do all they can to squash this, to silence us, to continue to peddle their narrative that trans people are harmful, or dangerous, or scary. But they aren't. They couldn't be further from that.
Trans lives are precious and we will protect them at all costs.
