Set Design: Installation Art Projects
Set design and costume photography from my most recent installation piece, Mountains Room, where my characters were animated through performance with animated projection graphics on background walls and draped cloth. Postmodern installation art influenced this piece, which developed itself as a kind of ritual, where for seven days audiences could walk into the space to find a different lived scenario by the performer actors (myself included) depending on the time of day they walked into the space.
Set design and photography from a selection of performance installations I have created, including walk-through interactive theatrical experiences and my own art installations. Bringing characters to life - either through comic books, animation tests or live action - remains a thread that runs throughout my work, and I really feel like you create a sense of character in something as simple as set dressing or background details - often it's the tiny but critical details that tell you about a character occupying a space or how they live their life.
