This book is a cover version of one of the longest-history japanese film magazine ‘Kinema Junpo’ (1946). The hidden contents within it are the ‘Silent Party’ series of photograph which was taken by the in-house photographer of Doppelganger Gallerie during the biggest pandemic lock-down of Shanghai from March to May, 2022. It has re-examined our public space that happens in a strange context. This book uses a metaphoric approach to crash those two totally disconnecting histories at once in it and questions the fundamental assets, relations of systems, entertainment and history.
