A simple desk, born of necessity and tight constraints. A saw and drill reconstituted a found pallet into a base, and a few unused boards into a top. Manilla rope defines the back edge of the desk, softening the harsh geometries; on the front edge a flame-shaped knot adds intrigue and joins other knots in adding complexity to the large desktop surface.
