Women's Rights Collage

Women's Rights
by Natalie Cortez
My three works of art focus on the rights of women and how there are people in charge of the government who make decisions for women and about women's bodies. Leaving women unable to make these choices for themselves. While others may think that it is a good thing for certain things to be taken away that women can choose to do with their bodies, it is good to have options if not for choices but for the overall health and well-being of women. It is a fight that has been around for ages and will continue to be around if nothing is done.
Creating a collage that represents women and women's rights and how the government affects those rights. I wanted to include assets that represent women and government and things that are important to women's reproductive health.
Continuing the theme of government and women and reproductive health I also wanted to include the same colors throughout the different collages that make them cohesive together.
For this final one, the blurred faces of the people represent the people who are for these rights for women but are silenced by others.
