[9 APRIL 2022] Pilot project of Tampines West Merchants' Association (TWMA) in collaboration with the relevant government agencies in being the first neighbourhood to have a Eco - Digester installed to tackle food waste and turning them into fertilisers.

With multiple food establishments and supermarkets in this neighbourhood, a large amount of food waste is generated daily and sent to an incineration plant. The ash is deposited at Semakau Landfill, which will run out of space by 2035. Hence the on-site digester is able to recycle up to 400kg of food waste; and turning it into fertilisers. 

This initiative will reduce the carbon footprint associated with the trucking of waste and extend the lifespan of Singapore's only landfill.

Tasked to design the sticker label for the fertiliser packet.

Along with a simple introduction and step-by-step instruction on how to use the fertiliser.
