With the front of the album, I at first didn’t know which direction to go. I went a little crazy with the addition of so many stock images, and layering them to create that surreal effect. This project has to be my favorite out of all of them , not only because Melanie Martinez is my favorite artist, but also because I had created so many “easter eggs” I put into my art. From the bubbles representing “Soap”, the bandaged man in the sky representing “Mrs. Potato Head”, all the way to the wolf inside the bubble showcasing “Tag, You’re It” My creative ideas came out the most which I love and with the back, I learned my way through many typefaces and how their cohesion matters the most when creating a simplistic but also a storytelling element into my design.
