This project was a first for me. I had previously only designed covers and chapter pages (the pretty stuff) but this time round I was called to work on the entire project, typesetting included. As the book was called "Principles For Business Success," The cover was not meant to emphasise the usual buildings and corporate handshakes, but a more every day life sort of feel, and something a bit more creative, that would represent the content of the book.

 

We came across the cover image by Marcin Jakubowski (aka Balloon Tree), and got permission to use it on the cover, and incorporated it with vibrant colour and silver foiling for a fresher look to the author's previous books, whilst still maintaining a creative yet sophisticated look to represent the book's content.
