Leave behind
__
A leave behind paper flower for graphic designers. The ‘leave behind is small and flat but opens up to reveal a brightly coloured flower. The recipient opens up three layers of petals to reveal questions printed on each petal. The paper flower can be used as a decorative element on a work desk. It is brightly coloured on one side while the other side has a mirror-like surface. It can also be a guide for those with a design block with the help of the mentioned questions.
The booklet features a group of graphic designers’ mementos—a way for people to sample their work. The curation of graphic designers’ works is regarded as a sample of their portfolio. It is a small piece in their collection of work, thus the idea of a sample. The booklet in which their work is exhibited is designed to mimic a sample swatch—a taste or idea of what is to come from the designers.
