This is the second part of the series Awaiting. Many buildings in Leipzig that were abandoned after the collapse of the GDR are now being restored and repopulated. Others were demolished to make way for something bright and shiny. There are some buildings however, that live in an intermediate state between hope and trepidation for what is coming. It is unsure, if they will be restored or demolished someday. Although vandalized, these houses exude a unique atmosphere that soon might be lost.
