Working as the Marketing Coordinator & Graphic Designer for YMCA of Middletown and South Orange Family YMCA, I am often tasked to create flyers and social media graphics for upcoming events. Above you will see the two flyer I created for two separate "Girls Night Out" ( GNO ) events throughout the year. The first event ( purple ) was meant to encourage movement and empower girls and women to get active and stay strong. They wanted a simple graphic flyer with some information on the event and its sponsors. I stuck with the YMCA Brand Guidelines for colors and layout while incorporating some illustrations of women staying active and having fun. 

The second event ( pink ) was for our more recent GNO - it was requested that I create a floral design for the flyer since we were approaching spring. I chose to do a simple pink/purple gradient background using the YMCA color palette and added some simple line art peonies and roses. 

Both were a hit amongst our members and staff and were so much fun to work on. I'm looking forward to future GNO events!
