Arabic khufi calligraphy university project
the challenge : I was asked to make a calligraphy khufi design inspired from a sentence from an Egyptian poetry
'' و بناة الاهرام في سالف الدهر كفوني الكلام عند التحدي ''
which means '' And the builders of the pyramids in the past era stopped me from talking when challenged'' so I draw some sketches and my professor chose from them
this is another project where I was asked to design a circular khufi design. this design was also inspired from the sentence written '' العفو عند المقدرة '' which means ''Forgiveness when possible''
so I chose natural colors and simple designs
