I guess, this book cover will never work for non-fiction books but I decided to think about the brief in another way. So yeah I didn't show the freedom from abuse but I showed how the abuser looks from the side. At first, I made a dark cover option, after that I decided it was too dark and made a light option... but both options are grim ultimately :D
Anyway, I like this work and had a lot of fun in the process!
