This was a project to inspire us to use photo collage combined with photos of ourselves. The project was also based on the theme dysmorphia, and this meant there were no limits as to how I could use collage to edit my face. I used this theme in many different routes, including more simple designs, funny ones as well as my final piece with a deeper meaning.
This is my final piece from this project and was inspired by the photo collage I had been experimenting with. I decided to combine it with drawing, watercolour and continuous lined fine liner to make a diverse piece with different techniques. The writing was cut out from various magazines and is inspired by the song 'Fat funny friend' by Maddie Zahm which I felt I could relate to. I also decided to add this deeper theme to this piece as it definitely related further to the theme of dysmorphia in a more serious way than my previous light-hearted pieces.
