The central theme of my art encompasses a range of psychological explorations: I address ingrained beliefs about certain personality traits, their emotional connotation, and the search for an alternative form of interpretation of human nature. Through my work I challenge the stereotypical idea of the so-called "dark" parts of personality, identifying their role and value through the transformative power of self-reflection.

Social judgments often ask us to divide emotions into “good” and “bad”, and our self – into virtues and vices. Such a categorical assessment does not allow certain, “shadow” aspects of our personality to manifest themselves. I turn to art as a non-verbal way of communicating with my own “shadow”, bypassing, usually verbal, ingrained norms of “conduct” and evaluation. I find strength and inspiration in burdensome experiences: they become a source of growth and artistic expression, and my art is a means of dialogue with myself.

By expressing my “dark” traits in my work, I engage in deeper and more nuanced exploration, leading to liberation and greater self-acceptance. Ultimately, I show how the recognition of the "sinister" contributes to catharsis since they both comprise the multifaceted nature of human psyche.

I create automatic art in the medium of floral collage arrangements. My works consist of many organic and inorganic elements, where the choice of materials is not predetermined but is an intuitive process, echoing the flow of self-reflection. This organic and spontaneous approach allows me to capture the subtle nuances of each emotion I aim to convey, effectively translating the complexity of our personalities into tangible art.
