This is a Fanart of the Empress from Dragon Marked for Death by Inticreates I made in 2021. Dragon Marked for Death is a game I love and have played on 2 Platforms so far.
I love the Art of Toru Nakayama who did the Designs for this game as well as the Mega Man Zero Franchise. My initial Goals were to learn about NPR with this Project and get close to the Concept Art.
This Model has a Simple Cel Shader with 2 Textures and uses the Inverted Hull Method for the Outlines (using the Vertex Color for that Color). I modeled the Inner lines and any Color Information and used Curves with a taper control to create the Hair.
