These 1:18 scale diecast models are replicas of 1955 Chrysler 300 stock cars driven by Tim Flock and Frank "Rebel" Mundy. The two drivers won championships in the 1955 NASCAR Grand National and AAA Stock Car seasons. Tim Flock drove the #300 in the NASCAR series and Frank Mundy drove the #30 in the AAA series. The models began as stock street cars, I stripped the original paint, removed the tires and side windows. After denting the bodies, I repainted, lettered, and weathered them. I added hood and trunk cables, straight pipe exhaust, and modern era stock car wheels and tires. The decal artwork was the most labor intensive as I replicated, on computer, all of the hand painted lettering that appears on the original cars.
