I think that making a list of ideas helps better with what I can come up with for certain projects. I usually never brainstorm like this but it helps when I really need it or am having trouble with coming up with ideas.
I tried to focus on the basic aspects of what most people know virtual reality to be with my sketches, though it got pretty hard sometimes to come up with certain compositions!
A lot of my ideas were inspired by other pieces I saw or things like vaporwave and synthwave backgrounds/art since that style of art gave me the "future/virtual" aesthetic I was looking for.
I am less familiar with augmented reality in terms of art and illustration. I have seen a lot of virtual reality art, but I think not as much with augmented reality art.
Some of my ideas with the augmented reality sketches were a bit less detailed in comparison to the virtual reality ones, though I am still happy with how all the sketches came out.
This was my final piece- I decided to go with sketch #1 since I liked the composition in that one best. I am honestly really proud of how it came out! I had a couple of issues with the color scheme at first but after playing around with it a while, I finally found something I liked that I felt also was pleasing visually. I did not want anything too bright or eye-straining, so I am glad with the color scheme I was able to use in this piece and how it is nice to look at.
