Another year of Eurovision artwork is done! What an amazing edition it was with Loreen from Sweden being the first woman ever to win Eurovision Song Contest twice!
Liverpool was a marvellous host on behalf of Ukraine and it managed to charge the whole city with the festival mood!

37 countries entered the competition, resulting in 37 illustrations depicting all the contestants.
Unlike the last year's illustrations, which depicted the contestants in the outfits they had performed during the rehearsals, this year's main focus was to illustrate all the artists, including all the band members. Additionally to that, the small 'chibi-like' characters from last year's edition turned into a full-scale illustration with more complicated line work and shadowing.
This approach forced me to start working on this project two months before the contest, which was a great challenge that got rewarded by creating this wonderful series.

Great applause for this year's contest branding and especially the colour scheme, which I find absolutely beautiful and fun!
I used blue as the background colour, with yellow, pink and dark blue to create the frames that connect all the images.
