Someday...
Someday... is a contemporary jewelry series that reflect on the fragility of our life through discovering the beauty of crystallized withered flowers.
Although my work started as a material experiment, during the process of experimentation and getting to know the materials, I discovered that plants and flowers do not lose their charm even after wilting, which is essentially their death. Wilting is a natural part of their existence and therefore inevitable for every flower. However, with a little attention, we can also find beauty in this state. I grew crystals on dried plants, which sparkle like tiny diamonds. This is how flowers come to life again, transformed into brooches that can be worn individually or arranged in bouquets. These fragile compositions remind us of the beauty of life, as well as its fragility and the passage of time, which is difficult to accept but accompanies us throughout our entire lives.
There are pieces where I used the flower alone for smaller pieces, while others, just like flower bouquets, are composed of several crystal flowers.
