'Why the Sun and the Moon live the Sky'
Water wonders why he is never invited to Sun's house. Sun replies that his house is not large enough and builds a new one to accommodate his friend. When water comes to visit he floods the entire house, setting the Sun and his spouse - the Moon to a new home - the Sky.

The African water deity La Sirene or Mami Wata (eng. Mother Water) honors the sacred and essential nature of water. The goddess was envisioned African culture as a mermaid with a snake wrapped around her. Mother Water, known for her unpredictability and (at times) harshness, leaves people relying on her good grace and mercy, especially throughout monsoon season.
The third tale portrays supernatural creatures of the mythology of Senegal's Wolof (Lebou) people - Yumboes. Yumboes (eng. Good people), spirits of the dead, are silver-haired fairies of two feet tall. At night, the spirits come from beneath Paps hills to dance in the moonlight and feast with natives, while only their hands and feet can be seen. The tale celebrates the sacredness of food and a general outlook that the spirits are good and kind.
