After buying these cookies for the packaging, I kept the box to analyze it more. I was drawn to the packaging because of the bright colors, but the piece lacked visual hierarchy and needed to be made more sophisticated and modern. I used the original product photo and dimensions of the box and then created the remaining elements myself. I used a hand-drawn strawberry to bring youth and simplicity to the design. I chose a simple font for the body copy to balance the bolder logo and subheading fonts.
