This is a set of book front and back covers designed for the annual anthology of creative writing from the Writers' Guild, a co-curricular club at my school. It exploits a minimalist, unsaturated aesthetic to evoke lowkey, repressed feelings around which the stories and poems within are themed.
The front cover made use of scanned pencil writing and eraser dust to create a more intimate, idiosyncratic appearance that underscored the personal themes of the anthology.
The back cover featured an original character that was just abstract enough to distil a soft feeling of ennui.
It is narrativised by a falling pen modified from the Guild's logo.
