Arma Carnis - University Group Project

Overview
This is one of my university submissions for my major team project.
We constructed a horror game where the player must navigate their way through a spaceship, fighting aliens which can also be used as weapons. 
Text Colours
This is the Main Menu, this consists of 4 buttons, each with an animation for when the player highlights the button, in addition to a sprite swap for when the button is selected.
This is the Options Window, this allows the player to change the volume, brightness and mouse sensitivity. The back button has an animation for when it is highlighted, in addition to a sprite swap for when the button is selected.
This is the How to Play window, this is where the player can find the controls of the game. Each of the left side buttons has an animation when it is highlighted in addition to a sprite swap for when it is selected (shown in image above). The buttons on the top of the screen contain an animation to move the button down onto the screen, in addition to animations when the icon is highlighted and selected by increasing in size.
The windows for the information needed contains a video of the action being performed in game.

This is showing the Level Select window, the back button contains an animation for a highlight, in addition to a sprite swap for the selected state. The different level sections highlight in a green (as shown) and changes to a yellow when selected. 
HUD elements showing a health bar on the top of the screen, this health bar contains a heartbeat R-R line, with an animation which makes it appear as though it is pulsating. The top left corner contains the objective for the player. The top right contains the weapon type and durability of the weapon. This element is not shown if the player is not armed with a weapon, and the image inside changes dependant on the weapon the player is weilding.  
Pause Menu in game, each of the buttons increase in size when the player highlights and selects them.
