FRIDA KAhlo : BEYOND GENDER
The photo series features three looks that showcase a gender-fluid approach to styling traditional Indian garments inspired by the iconic artist Frida Kahlo.
My objective was to give the postures a gender-neutral appearance while simultaneously revealing and emphasizing the clothing, accessories, and makeup.
I made the decision to use dramatic lighting and ask the models to play with their clothing in order to add a lot of drama to the photographs.
