For this project I was tasked with creating a stop motion advertisement for either a chocolate or drink brand. I chose Kisses! I worked around many ideas, but eventually landed on a storyline about a Kiss chocolate and a Hug chocolate. I created this project through the use of multiple softwares including: a stop motion app, Adobe photoshop, and Adobe animate. My process after creating my storyline began with the logistics of how to move the tags of the chocolates to create emotion and movement. My first prototype was a chocolate with a piece of wire lodged in the center and glued to the stem in order to bend and shape it. After getting the process down and creating a cleaner version, I continued with that prototype for the remainder of the project. I created a scene with a backdrop made from matboard, cotton balls, and stickers along with a bench I made from popsicle sticks. From then on I simply took pictures of my set moving the chocolates with the stop motion app. To wrap it up, I simply edited out the wires in photoshop, did a few key edits in animate, and added music!
