Art direction for the Japanese tea brand "MORN"
The sense of beauty of imperfection, Wabisabi, the virtue of Zen, the tea ceremonies which were used as tools to show authority during the warring states period, and the shades of the colors brown and grey named ”shijuhacchahyakunezumi“ , that were created to express all kinds of emotions even under hard restrictions and rules.  The traditional culture in Japan has the strength and creativity for people to find ways to express themselves even in an absurd world.  In the modern world, the people who has the same kind of mindset where they don’t want to be bound by stereotypes, choose tea as their choice of healthy beverage (called as  conditioning drink in our brand) .  This is the image we wanted to convey through this project.  

What is “MORN”

MORN is a flavored tea brand with various plants and fruits. The theme is “IPPUKU” for clearing your mind.
The brand creates a new way of tea in the modern age by focusing on the potential of tea as healthy beverage.
