This is the music video I made for the Düsseldorf based artist Florence Besch. The song "Microman" is about a man who has a big ego and not so big a mind.

The main character himself is villain-like; he is ignorant, discriminative, rude and grumpy.

I had the intention to depict this very non-likable guy in a cute, cartoony way so that in the end it would be a fun, light video to watch, rather than a dark and depressing one.

The song is very upbeat and it has this grunge vibes which I'm a big fan of. So I tried to reflect late 80s-early 90s black&white pattern usage, and I put there a vintage TV with curvy fonts, so that the viewer could understand that they were being taken on a retro journey into another universe.

Among all the videos I made so far, this is my favourite one. I like how I took a character that was challenging for me and transformed him into one of my most fun characters to draw ever, while still managing to convey his negativity and grumpiness.
