SUN Entertainment: Poster Series
Fall 2022-Spring 2023, Event Poster Marketing
SUN Entertainment is Northern Arizona University’s student-run activities department. They produce and promote large-scale events and activities for all students.
These projects were created for a variety of campus-wide events including concerts, shows, and movies. The goal of each project is to market and advertise events aesthetically and appealingly to increase student interest and attendance at events.
For the event designs that I produce, I try to focus on illustration and typography. I like to display the information for an event in a way that is interesting, but also useful and informative. Each event requires a little bit of a different design style and approach depending on the theme and mood of the event. For example, Hungry Hearts Cabaret is a live performance and the design required a lot of photography and Photoshop work. Board Game Night, on the other hand, uses illustrated graphics.
