I began 'pearl diver' in January this year but left it unfinished until now.  The title came to mind after the nacre like finish unexpectedly became a dominant element in the design.  The idea of pearl fishing amused me as it could be a metaphor for the way I work these days - diving into the depths in search of treasure.
