Brand
Post Archive Faction is a South Korean clothing brand that is known for their unique silhouettes and construction of their garments. They do not advertise like a typical brand as their main presence online is through instagram or their website. For this catalog I wanted to highlight their new Autumn/Winter 5.0 Collection with the the rest of the catalog focusing on past collections.

Products and Collections
The first thing to consider was what type of products I would want to be showing off. Since I knew that I wanted to highlight the 5.0 collection, the real problem was to figure out what else to display. The solution was to show off the previous 2 collections which was the 4.0+ and 4.0 collections.

Type
The first step to developing the catalog was to pick a typeface that would complement the modern and futuristic looking clothing. It is because of this reason that I knew I had to pick a sans serif typeface for my body copy and product descriptions. Many typeface experiments were printed to ensure that all type was legible and and that there was hierarchy between all fonts used.

Cover
The main ideas for the cover were to highlight either the texture or the silhouettes of pieces. The first idea was to have the clothes stacked on each other with the spiky jacket being the main focus. This. would get digitized and later become the first draft of the back cover. The next idea was the concept of diagonal progression. It's a theme I tried to carry over in almost all my spreads. It also demonstrates the use of negative space that persists throughout the catalog.
