Saona Joies. Mediterranean Essence Jewels handmade in Mallorca
— Rebranding and packaging design
Saona Joies is a jewelry brand with an exclusive, timeless and quality design. Made with noble materials and produced locally and on a small scale in Mallorca, respecting the environment. It is a simple, delicate, minimalist, Mediterranean, natural brand.
For its rebranding, we decided to make a typographic logo. We chose a simple and timeless serif typeface, as is the brand, personalized with details that link it to the Mediterranean and make it unique. For the logo mark where we used the initials “S” and “J” we decided to add a dot-like detail, which has the same shape as one of Saona's jewels. Imperfect and unique.
To continue with the consistency and values of the brand, when we redesigned the packaging, one of our main goals was to make it as sustainable as possible. After considering several options, we decided that the card that goes with each order would be printed on 100% recycled paper and that the boxes would be compostable. In addition, the logo on the boxes is debossed, avoiding the use of ink.
