Bound

Bound was a project born from a 2020 48-hour game jam at Southern New Hampshire University. The theme was "restriction";  and the games were all judged by people from Rockstar Games. In the end this project didn't come in the top-3, however it did receive 2 out of 3 superlatives- "Best use of Theme" and "Best Game Mechanics".

I selected this item for my portfolio because it includes a whole game prototype, shows a high level of creativity, and proficiency with Unity3D, AI, and development of game mechanics.

While creating this there were many issues that were faced, including many bugs with the AI, collision based issues, and some issues with UI, on top of this being my first ever game jam, which added a whole new set of problems, including team management, repository issues and time management. But with proper organization and repeated testing and immediate bug fixing, all of these problems were able to be fixed.
